Introduction:

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 15, 2023, represents a groundbreaking approach to inclusive development. Launched on Janjatiya Gaurav Divas, the Yatra aims not only to raise awareness about government welfare schemes but also to ensure their comprehensive implementation, reaching even the most remote corners of the nation.

Overview of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra:

The Yatra, employing Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) vans making two halts daily, integrates crucial services such as health camps, Aadhar enrollment, and more. Initially targeting districts with significant tribal populations, the Yatra is slated to cover all districts by January 25, 2024.

Objectives of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra:

The Yatra encompasses key objectives, including reaching the unreached, disseminating information, generating awareness, learning from citizens, and enrolling potential beneficiaries. The overarching goal is to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach the last mile and the most vulnerable sections of society.

Implementation Strategy:

Active involvement of nodal ministries such as Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Rural Development, Tribal Affairs, Information & Broadcasting, and Housing and Urban Affairs is pivotal to the Yatra's success. Nodal Officers at state and district levels ensure effective coordination, and the Yatra is set to continue until January 26, 2024.

Ground Activities and Achievements:

The Yatra has witnessed diverse ground activities, including health camps, Aadhar enrollment, and interactions with beneficiaries. Notably, over 21,000 people registered for the PM Ujjwala Yojana on the first day. The Yatra recognizes remarkable individuals, including women, students, artists, and sports personalities, as active contributors to the nation's development.

Health Camps and Disease Screening:

Health camps play a crucial role in the Yatra, offering various health-related services. Tuberculosis (TB) screening, with over 195,000 people screened, and Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) screening, with more than 54,750 people screened, underscore the Yatra's commitment to public health.

Ayushman Bharat - Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna (AB-PMJAY)

The Yatra places significant emphasis on AB-PMJAY, the flagship healthcare scheme. Over 9,35,970 Ayushman cards were created, and more than 1,07,000 physical cards were distributed during the Yatra, reflecting tangible progress in healthcare accessibility.

Financial Assistance and Social Welfare Programs:

Under Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (PMTBMBA) and Nikshay Poshan Yojna (NPY), the Yatra aims to provide financial assistance to TB patients and streamline benefit transfer through Direct Benefit Transfer. Details of 3,371 beneficiaries were collected under NPY during the Yatra.

Outreach and Impact:

The Yatra's outreach extends beyond health, encompassing sectors such as agriculture, sanitation, and housing. Drone demonstrations, soil health card demonstrations, and discussions with farmers practicing natural farming highlight the Yatra's efforts in promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

PM Modi’s Commitment to the People:

In a letter directed to the people of Rajasthan ahead of the imminent assembly elections, Prime Minister Modi warmly delved into the state's rich history. He recounted instances from Rajasthan's past where individuals showcased an extraordinary commitment, even making ultimate sacrifices to honor their pledges. Echoing this sentiment, the Prime Minister introduced the concept of 'Modi Yaani Har Guarantee Poori Hone Ki Guarantee'—a commitment emblematic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dedication to fulfilling the aspirations of the common man. This commitment signifies the government's determination to serve the most marginalized individuals, ushering in a political era where promises hold genuine weight and are effectively implemented.

The assurances outlined in this commitment span across the fundamental necessities of life. Despite yearly celebrations of Independence, a harsh reality persists wherein a significant portion of our country's population lacks access to essential needs. Past efforts have fallen short of creating a nation that is both prosperous and statistically inspiring. However, the transformative initiatives initiated in the summer of 2014 have ignited a renewed sense of optimism, inspiring us to envisage a future that surpasses the mere essentials.

Success Stories and Achievements:

The Yatra has achieved 100% saturation in various flagship schemes, including Ayushman Card, Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), Jan Dhan, and Open Defecation Free (ODF+). Individual success stories, presented under "Meri Kahani Meri Zubani," showcase the transformative impact of government schemes on people's lives.

Conclusion:

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra stands as a monumental initiative in the pursuit of inclusive development. With its comprehensive approach, the Yatra has not only raised awareness about government schemes but has also actively engaged with citizens, addressing their needs and concerns. As the Yatra continues its journey across the nation, its impact on the lives of individuals and communities remains a testament to the government's commitment to holistic and inclusive progress.

The real-time data on ground-level activities underscores the Yatra's dynamic and adaptive nature, ensuring the effective delivery of welfare scheme benefits. This Yatra is not merely a campaign; it is a transformative journey towards a more equitable and prosperous India.
