Madhuben, a 30 year old, developed a runny nose and cough. In a couple of days, she lost sense of smell and taste. She suspected it to be COVID-19 infection. She rushed to get tested and turned out she was COVID positive.
Madhuben watched her symptoms carefully. As symptoms did not progress, she treated herself at home. Her family continued to monitor her oxygen saturation levels with pulse-oximeters. She took a nutritious diet including fruits, dal, bhat, sabji, nuts, yogurt, chana, etc. Rather than panicking, she believed in meditation and performing yoga. Fortunately, her family members did not develop any symptoms.
Instead of laying down in the bed, Madhuben kept moving around in the home and performed mild exercises.
In summary, most people recover from the symptoms with an exception of old age, diabetes, chronic kidney and heart disease.
Majority of people do not need special treatment. Nutritious diet, exercise, and sound sleep help them to recover. Meditation helps, not panicking.
Do not hoard supplies that you don’t need
Just like the perverted progressives and malfeasance media you can curse Modiji as if he created the virus. So many countries regardless of rich and poor, underwent scenarios like us. For instance, during peak Covid wave, New York encountered big problems such as drain on healthcare system, disposal of dead bodies, supply of PPE kits, overworked healthcare workers and so on. Similar scenarios replicated all over the world, more than once in some countries such as Italy, France, Germany, Spain and others.
A few articles popped up praising India in February 2021. How is India doing so well? On February 01, 2021, some were congratulating India because COVID-19 numbers were so low. The authors went dumbfounded scratching their heads how India dodged the bullet of COVID-19 assault. Fast forward, just a few weeks, explosion of COVID-19 cases in India. Articles pop-up pounding on Narendra Modi. Remember, when things go well, they don’t congratulate Modiji but quote India as if India herself solved all the problems.
Unfortunately, after March 2021, to the surprise of so many, the fury of COVID-19 reminded us of Lord Shiva’s third eye. We can blame Modiji, BJP and others for the sudden surge of COVID-19 infections.
But do you know most experts, healthcare policy makers and governments have failed miserably at predicting COVID-19 course? COVID-19 continues to baffle scientists, experts and policy makers. Modiji, BJP and Indian government are no exception.
The CDC director, Rochelle P. Walensky vented her frustration. She felt impending doom for the USA due to the pandemic situation. Imagine if Biden administration follows her recommendation and locks down the USA, there would be billions of dollars of economy catastrophe, more alcohol abuse and child abuse. Now we find that the USA COVID-19 is declining.
Was Ms. Walensky scaring us? No. Ms. Walensky was informing us based on input from various agencies, models and so on. Unfortunately, the models keep failing. I will encourage any young woman and man to follow Ms. Walensky ’s footsteps. I applaud her public service. She could have made millions as an actress in Hollywood but she has dedicated herself to public service.
Dr. Anthony Fauci reassured the nation in February 2020, “There’s nothing to worry about COVID-19.” After his reassurance, cases started popping up and the USA went into lockdown. Was he misguiding us? No. COVID-19 continues to baffle experts. Dr. Robert Gallo, the fame of discovery of HIV published a paper suggesting that COVID-19 may decline in summer, unfortunately COVID-19 continued to ravage even during summers.
Again COVID-19 humbles scientists, policy makers and citizens.
Now let us unite and show to the world, we will overcome this tragedy. Perverted progressives, sadly and unfortunately, are enjoying the misery and deaths.
