The woman alleged that her elder daughter, a victim of love jihad, has been struggling to obtain justice, and she has since been receiving threats that her younger daughter might face a similar fate.

She further disclosed that her younger daughter had previously experienced an obscene incident, which led to the perpetrators being booked under the POCSO Act. “However, no action has been taken against the accused persons who continue to roam freely in the village and continue to threaten us,” she claimed.

The police have confirmed the arrest of three individuals in connection with the case.

According to reports, the woman claims she is too afraid to leave her home, citing that one of the accused is a known criminal with a history of offenses and belongs to the Muslim community. “Despite repeated visits to the police station and the Superintendent of Police’s office, no substantial action has been taken against the accused,”The woman accused the police of inaction, claiming it left her vulnerable to both mental and physical harassment by influential Islamist figures.

The woman shared that her village has a predominantly Muslim population, with her family being the only Hindu household. After her husband's death, she and her daughters began experiencing escalating harassment from the local Muslims. Speaking to the media, the woman accused Imran, the grandson of the former village head Bhure, and his associates of continuously harassing her daughters. She also revealed that Imran had abducted her elder daughter on two separate occasions, which led her to file reports of a missing person.

According to the woman, on October 4, 2024, her daughters were home alone when Imran and another young man named Irshad illegally entered her residence, caused a disturbance, stole cash and jewelry valued at Rs. 35,000, and abducted her older daughter. They also allegedly sexually assaulted her younger daughter. “While the police have registered a case, no concrete steps have yet been taken against the perpetrators,” the woman said.

The Kheri police have acknowledged the event, stating that three individuals involved in the case have been arrested. They also confirmed that an FIR has been registered under the applicable sections of the law.

The woman remains furious about the incident, emphasizing that despite repeated reassurances from law enforcement, she continues to receive threats that her younger daughter could also be kidnapped. Feeling both helpless and unsafe, she has now made the decision to sell her house.
