A gentle reminder for the Leftist media that Dalits are also Hindu. Media plays an important role in any type of information and people trust the media but when a news agency provokes people or uses wrong interpretations, it becomes hard to find the truth. There are a multiple number of examples where the media instigated the sentiments of people by using the wrong term. Similarly when a news agency like ANI, uses wrong words to describe a certain thing, people criticise it. Few month back the news agency separated Dalit and Hindu in two different community whereas Dalit people are Hindus too. A tweet made by ANI which says that “Two deputy CMs will be appointed along with CM in Punjab. 1 Hindu and 1 Dalit MLA to be appointed for the post.” it drew the attention of Dalit leader and former BJP MP Hari Manjhi. He recently asserted that Dalits are also Hindus and slammed the media for weaving an insidious narrative where Dalits are differentiated from their Hindu brethren. “We Dalits are also Hindus. Why is the media making such a stupid narrative,” Manjhi tweeted in response to a tweet by news portal ANI. This is wrong to misinterpret something and also hurt people’s sentiments. Every time this leftist media hides the truth and plays with the sentiments of people. Our PM is trying hard to give everyone the same rights irrespective of caste, creed or religion. But our leftist group and leftist media is creating an obstacle for it to happen. Dalits are also Hindu, they belong to the same community and they are not separated. They deserve every right and they don’t need any specification for their community. Everyone should respect every community and leftist should also respect every community.
